We all love to see a planted aquarium, enjoying the little world you created, teeming with life in it’s own little eco system. I used to have a tank like that, that was until I fell in love with a couple of Apple snails in the local fish store and brought them home.
Being new to the fish and snail keeping hobby, I introduced the snails to their new home and for a while, everything was perfect, that was until they grew to the size of golf balls. Slowly, the entire tank started to disappear, plants would be floating around the surface, I would just scoop them up and replant them. Eventually though, there was no more plants. I came to terms with the fact I could not use the delicate plants that grew so impressivley fast, I needed to stick with the hardier, slow growing plants
